Revolutionizing the Treatement of  Stroke and Neurological Conditions

While are fight to reform U.S. healthcare policy, so stroke survivors can gain access to afford recovery. That’s why we’re privately funding Europe’s proven, high-intensity recovery model right here at home—advancing vital research and expanding access to the care survivors deserve today.

800,000

Annual U.S. Strokes
Every 40 seconds, someone in the U.S. suffers a stroke. The vast majority are discharged into a system entirely unequipped to support long-term physical recovery.

+40%

Rise in Young Adult Strokes
Strokes among adults aged 18 to 44 have skyrocketed over the last two decades. A rapidly growing number of younger survivors face decades of life with a neurological disability.

2.8M

Traumatic Brain Injuries Per Year
TBI is a massive, often invisible public health crisis. Survivors are routinely left dealing with permanent balance deficits, executive dysfunction, and spasticity.

18,000

New Spinal Cord Injuries
Every year, thousands of lives are instantly altered by partial or complete paralysis. Because lifelong medical costs are staggering, affordable adaptive gym access is a critical lifeline.

The Current Landscape: A System Built for Billing, Not Healing

Today, stroke and neurological recovery in the U.S. is treated as an acute event with an expiration date. Survivors are forced onto a rigid, transactional conveyor belt that completely ignores the timeline of true neurological healing.

  • The Care Cliff: The standard path goes from Hospital   →    Inpatient Rehab    →           Outpatient Rehab  →   Discharge. The medical system cuts survivors loose not when their brains are done healing, but when their insurance billing cycles run out.
  • The Financial Wall: Once insurance stops paying, continuous recovery becomes an elite luxury. Private, specialized neuro-rehab can cost over $200 per hour. Families are forced to choose between financial ruin or watching their loved one’s physical progress slip away.
  • The Isolation Epidemic: Left without an affordable place to train, standard commercial gyms aren't equipped to help. Survivors are left isolated at home—stuck in a sedentary lifestyle that drastically increases the risk of secondary strokes and mental health crises.

The Bottom Line: The number one barrier to lifelong neurological recovery isn't human potential—it’s money and a broken system. We believe your income should never dictate your ability to walk, move, or live with dignity.

Driven by Lived Experience

RISN Gym wasn’t born in a corporate boardroom. It was born out of frustration with a broken healthcare system.

After witnessing firsthand the devastating "care cliff" that neurological survivors face after hospital discharge, we realized that an affordable, specialized community gym wasn't just a good idea—it was a medical necessity. We are building the facility we wish existed when our own lives were touched by neurological injury.

The Cutoff.

When insurance benefits end, traditional neuro-recovery stops. We believe your healing shouldn’t have an artificial expiration date.

A New Blueprint

We are building a space where limitations are rewritten. RISN Gym is designed from the ground up to provide the long-term, high-repetition training your brain and body actually deserve to rewire and rebuild.

Powered By Community

Isolation is the enemy of neurological recovery. At RISN, you aren't a patient trapped in a sterile clinic; you are an athlete surrounded by a team of peers who understand the grind and push you forward every single day.

Real journeys, real breakthroughs

Traditional therapy operates on a strict timeline, but true neurological healing doesn’t care about a calendar. Long after the medical system says a patient has "plateaued," high-intensity, adaptive training proves that the brain can keep rewriting its pathways.

Below is a glimpse of the work we are already doing. This is the exact blueprint of grit, specialized training, and continuous progress that will live inside the walls of RISN Gym.
